Matt believes in design that makes a difference. Difference for the lives of
the people who engage with the products, services and brands it creates;
difference for the commercial performance of the businesses responsible.
Design can only do this by creating inherent value. This means getting to
the heart of what¹s really at stake and having the courage, passion and
energy to make significant changes.
Over the past 16 years, he has worked with service providers and
manufactures across the globe and has won international awards from North
America to South East Asia. The most important award though, is the Grand
Prix for design effectiveness for the design of British Airways¹ business
class seat.

Hobbies and Interests:
Matt grew up in an era with too many Vietnam movies. Although two hour films of American GI's sailing "up river" to rescue mad colonels didn't do it for him, the background scenery did. It ignited a passion for travel. Long road & river journeys took him to ancient temples in the Cambodian jungle, glistening gold pagodas in Burma, deep into the Amazon basin, and many other magical places.
When both of his two daughters are older, he and his wife hope to take them to see prayer flags in the Himalayas, temples in Laos and villages in Mongolia. |
